Integrated Groundwater Resources was founded on a straightforward principle: the best groundwater science should serve the people who depend on the water.
Groundwater is Oregon’s largest available freshwater resource. It supplies farms, cities, rural homes, and ecosystems across the state. The decisions made of where to drill, how much to pump, what rights to hold, whether an aquifer can sustain a community through a dry decade are consequential decisions that deserve rigorous evaluation.
We started Integrated Groundwater Resources because we saw a gap. Large consulting firms serve large clients and carry large overhead that gets passed directly to the people paying for the work. Smaller clients, the ones who often need hydrogeologic expertise the most get priced out or underserved, while larger clients waste valuable grant funds to overhead.
IGRwater is built differently. Independent. Lean. Focused entirely on Oregon. When you hire us, you work directly with the hydrogeologist who does the work, from the first conversation to the final report. No hand-offs. No project managers between you and the science. No billing rates inflated by massive overhead you never benefit from.

A domestic well owner needs different answers than an irrigation district. A real estate buyer needs different information than a municipal water manager. We scope every investigation to the actual question — not to a standard template.
